Great service from the movers themselves, but felt very ripped off by the company - I was quoted $135 p/hour on the phone as a price match on another service I was considering and was then charged $179 p/hour when the job was completed. Get a written quote before you go ahead with these guys.

Just completed our move from Maidstone to the next suburb over.The Good:1) Extremely punctual - John and his team of 2 others arrived earlier than our appointed time of 0900hrs. Considering the day (Monday) and time, plus we're on the other side of the CBD, and we're located along a main road that's always busy, that in itself is impressive.2) Experienced - John and Co handled all our furnishings with finess. Towards the end when it appears our queen bed + frame couldn't make it up the stairs, they were able to make it work somehow.3) Expertise - We were moving a 3 bedder + outdoors + garage, so quite a fair number of items. They were able to plan their move in such a way that, there were still a fair bit of space in their 6 tonner. The unloading process at our new place was fast and efficient.4) Professional - These guys were professional throughout the move, and even brought a sense of humor. We've done a fair bit of moving, and this is one of the very few times that we didn't feel stressed out by the actual move.The Bad:1) Honestly, can't think of any :)We'll be engaging their services again in the near future, when we move to our forever home. Just moved with Moving Men and they were fantastic. Easy to deal, happy to help and accommodate. Moved a heap of furniture in 2 hours. Easier and cheaper than hiring a truck and doing it yourself, leave it to the professionals! Highly recommend and I will use again! Thanks John and team.

We hired Moving Men this weekend gone & I highly recommend them. Arrived on time. Took so much care with our items. We moved into a newly built home & when carrying items into our home - they were incredible. Not a scratch or a mark on our walls or to our furniture. They were friendly & professional. Do yourself a favour & hire them.

This was my second time hiring Moving Men. The first time was a year ago, when another removals company cancelled on me last minute and I had to find another removalist within a week of my move out date. John was the only one who'd gladly booked me in! They arrived early and got the job done in less than 2 hours. The second time wasn't as smooth sailing due to a tricky and time consuming bed frame that needed to be disassembled and reassembled again. There was also as a mishap with the elevator booking and the lack of professionalism from body corp/apartment staff to rectify the situation. On top of that, the electricity wasn't connected on time, so John had to reassemble the bed frame in the dark with only a phone torch as the light source! Despite all these circumstances, the team was still professional, understanding and delivered excellent service. I will definitely hire them again the 3rd time :)

I found Moving Men after requesting several quotes from different removal companies. Their price, along with the fact that they were local convinced me. John was friendly, clear and speedy with his communication, and Aaron and Chris were so lovely and efficient with the move! I'll never use anyone else, and will recommend these guys to anyone and everyone!

These guys are great! Thoroughly happy with their service. Very polite, responsive, quick, on time.Liam, Chris and Max are amazing!I have a heavy bookshelf to be moved onto the first floor. I am not surprised other companies just shake their head and can't/refuse to do it.But they guys did the measurements, remove all drawers to lower the weight and did it!Very impressed!

I found The Moving Men through a google search and what a find. Price, contact and confirmation quick and easy. Lads arrived on time, professional van with full signage. Liam and Chris were friendly, polite and professional. Local move which was very quick. Everything left the old place and arrived at the new place without issue. Covid contactless no problems. We used the moving men to move during COVID. Best moving experience we have ever had. Reece and team were quick and efficient. They managed to fit everything we needed in their truck and got it all safely to the destination. They carefully moved our fragile items, we had zero concerns about their ability. All the other companies wanted numbers of all the items and boxes and quoted well over the moving men price. John responded with “we have booked you in with the requested truck” essentially, it could not have been easier. Moving Men everyday.

I haven’t used this service, however today I walked past a house in Brunswick West, this morning. Two movers from your company were assisting a frail old man who was quite overwhelmed. I imagined this man has lived in this house a very long time and it appears he may be going into aged care or at least a retirement village. I just want to say the compassion, patience, reassurance and tenderness your mover (tall man, pony tail, tattoos) displayed to this man was so heartwarming. The very best in humanity! I thought it deserved a great review, at the very least.

We have moved several times in the past and these movers are the best we've ever gone with. John checked all the details with us to help us select the right-sized truck and provided a reasonable quote, which was subsequently honoured. The movers were also pet-friendly to our 1-year-old dog. The only blip of the day was a desk that toppled into the wall, although it is an irregular/unstable desk, so we should have let the movers know about it beforehand. Overall, I highly recommend this moving company!

I have moved with these guys twice already and I'm about to book with them for a third time. Team is super friendly and easy to communicate with. They understand how special the *things* we all have can be. I'm quite particular about how my furniture and delicate items are handled, and they managed this really well by communicating each step of the way and taking extra care. Everything was expertly manouvered without even the slightest scratch. Amazing value for money as well. I can't recommend this company highly enough!!!

I had John and his team move a stone bath into my new bathroom, it was a tight hallway, an awkward space they had to work with and a very heavy bath. I would thoroughly recommend Moving Men Brunswick to anyone! Not only were the guys brilliant and efficient (Rhys and Aaron), they loaded up their truck and safely unloaded everything on the other end in record time. At all times they were careful with my items and careful not to damage the unit I moved out of and the one I moved to. You’ll be in fine and safe hands with Moving Men.

Moving is stressful.Our move last week had the added pressure of a time sensitive deadline, on account of strict elevator/loading bay reservations.However Moving Men Removals made this move the smoothest experience of our lives.Both Bill and Liam were delightful and professional; upbeat, considerate and so careful with our belongings and the placing of it; no damage whatsoever and very efficient.The price and service is worth the peace of mind and very reasonable. Had Reece and Arron move my stuff from the old to a new rental. The guys were extremely professional, punctual and efficient. Kept me in the loop when they were arriving and loaded everything up with zero damage to anything. Including a fridge that needed to be carried down a set of stairs that barely fit.Owner John was very professional in his approach as well and no hidden costs, charged exactly what was discussed prior to the move.Well recommended!

Can't recommend Moving Men high enough. John was timely and responsive with all my enquiries and our movers Rhys and Liam were both incredibly patient, polite and respectful of all of our stuff. They managed to make what otherwise was a bit of logistical nightmare a breeze - even hoisting a couch over the balcony to get it out of the house. I've had some bad removalists in the past - so it was so great to have a really great team help with what can otherwise be a super stressful time.

These guys were outstanding. We have never had removalists that were so professional, friendly and fast. So very fast! I felt informed the entire time. They checked and asked questions about specific pieces of furniture before moving them to ensure it could be transported safely. I was so impressed I felt like writing this review before the move was even over! We certainly don’t want to move again any time soon but if we do, we know who to call! Thank you guys!

John and his team assisted me to move apartments (within my building) on Easter Saturday and in the middle of COVID-19! They were awesome! They turned up on time (actually 5 mins early), were very professional, nothing was too much trouble and even helped disassemble and reassemble my bed and connect my washing machine. This is the second time I have needed Moving Man. John and his team are by far the most professional and attentive team. Nothing is an issue and there is no job that is impossible, they will find a way (even if it means hoisting a 2mtr mirror from the ground to level 1).They are fun, fast and calming. It’s the little things that made me rebook with them... they are always a step ahead of you and know most buildings inside out. They have great relationships with care takers and building managers which ensures a smooth move. They even set up my tv, fridge and washing machine!I think they need to change their business name to “SUPERMEN”.Thanks guys.

These guys are great and so helpful. They went above and beyond to move what we thought was not much but filled a 6 tonne truck. They cracked jokes and made light of the situation given we had a lot of heavy plants to move. Great guys and worth booking if you want things done smoothly.

John and John are not only amazing at moving your stuff quickly and with the utmost care, they have excellent customer service skills and are super friendly. Why waste your money trying to move yourself, as the price of a hire truck and petrol are probably the same amount, and add back problems the next day, not worth the hassle. Easiest move I have ever done and stress free. Booking them for my next move. Keep up the great work guys!

After being dumped at the last minute by another company and being refused service by one other due to the challenges in accessing my property, Moving Men were so helpful and supportive and committed to assisting me. Rang me back *on a Sunday* and arranged the job. On the day of the move, despite a near-death traffic experience on their way to my home in the morning (!!) they arrived cheerful and friendly. They even allowed me to help carry some of the boxes without once asking if I was strong enough to be doing it - a refreshing change. They were experienced, knowledgeable and highly professional and did not stop til the job was done. Really enjoyed the banter along the way, too. Highly recommended.

Organised Moving Men to move my elderly mother in law from her home of over 50 years to her new home in Williamstown. Moving Men Brunswick were incredible. I had a tricky situation of buying a couch from a well known store and when it didn’t fit in the elevator their delivery guys told me to “buy a smaller couch”, leaving it in the car park (as they were not going to climb the 4 flights of stairs to my flat). I called Moving Men that afternoon. John and John came early the next day and though it was tricky manoeuvring around the corners of the stairs they delivered my couch into my flat within the hour without a scratch. I highly recommend Moving Men Removals. They are highly professional yet still able to have a joke and a smile on their faces. Reliable and we'll priced. It was a hard move due to the boxes being various sizes, but they managed it with a smile. They even managed to move two large cabinets up a flight of stairs. Wouldn't hesitate recommending these guys to family and friends.

Excellent service. I was stressed as it was my first time moving. However, from booking to completion of the job everything went really smoothly. I thought getting all the furnitures and boxes out of the previous place would be difficult as there is a long walk to get out of the garage. Yet, the guys were super professional, efficient and friendly which made everything so easy. Thank you John and John! Highly recommend!

My partner and I recently moved home and enlisted the services of the Moving Men who were recommended to us by close friends.John and John arrived bang on time and were polite and courteous enquiring about our needs and soon worked about the most effective way to get our furniture, white goods and personal items into our new home as fast as possible.Although it was a 38 degree day the two Johns didn’t slow down at all and carefully packed our treasured items as if they were their own. Upon arriving at the new house, the Moving Men happily moved items of furniture to exactly where we wanted and were happy to let us change our minds and relocate some of these a couple of times – without fuss.The whole move only took 4 hours and the price was very reasonable. With no breakages and a relaxing move in harsh conditions – we couldn’t be happier with the result and would have no trouble in recommending ‘The Moving Men’ to others.

John and his partner were punctual, friendly and efficient. Move was seamless and furniture arrived undamaged. I'd recommend them without any hesitation. (Move date 25/09/18)
